My goal as an early childhood educator is to provide a classroom environment where play is at the heart of learning. When meaningful play experiences are created, it will leave a lasting impact on children and in turn, foster a love of learning at a young age.

As parents and educators, our job is to help children recognize the beauty within themselves, and this is exactly what I like to do through creative storytelling. Inspired by the children I’ve taught and what they’ve have taught me in return, my stories braid together the universal truth that we are each unique and our individuality should be celebrated.

Bringing Pages to Life
My work is inspired by the wonders of nature, things I can see and feel in the world around me. Nature has so much to offer, so I appreciate the challenge and connection of remaking what I see. Additionally, I gather inspiration from other artists to push me further as I practice new techniques and styles of art. My preferred mediums are watercolors, oil pastels, pencils, pens and markers with a mix of collage in order to bring together the rich illustrations that complement my stories.
